Pomegranate Mustard Baked Ham

Baked ham is a holiday wondereasy to prepare, serves a crowd, and makes delicious sneak-to-the-fridge-in-the-middle-of-the-night leftovers. This mustard and pomegranate based glaze caramelizes to a beautiful rich brown. 

Makes 8 Servings

Ingredients

  • 1 large bone-in, fully baked ham 
  • 6 tablespoons brown mustard seeds
  • ½ cup mustard powder
  • 3 tablespoons Red Crown Pomegranate Reduction
  • ½ cup Red Crown Pomegranate Juice (Original or With Pulp)
  • 1 tablespoon kosher salt
  • Honey to taste

Instructions

  • Crush 4 tablespoons of mustard seeds in a plastic bag with a rolling pin. Add to medium mixing bowl.
  • Add all other ingredients, including remaining uncrushed mustard seeds, and combine until well mixed.
  • Transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 24 hours, up to a week. Remove one hour before use.
  • Prepare, glaze and heat through ham as usual.
