Iced Pomegranate Espresso Latte
Skip the coffee run – a fancy coffee drink is easy to make at home. Pomegranate reduction adds a remarkable depth and intensity. You can make this with whole or skim milk, or for a dairy-free option, try coconut, soy or almond milk.
Makes 2 servings
- 2 ounces Red Crown Pomegranate Reduction*
- 2 ounces brewed espresso
- 2 ounces simple syrup (recipe follows) or coffee syrup of your choice
- 10 ounces cold milk
Pour pomegranate reduction into two mugs or tall coffee glasses.
Fill glasses with ice, add simple syrup to each, then the milk.
Slowly pour in espresso shots to create a beautiful cascading effect in the milk.
For simple syrup:
Combine equal parts white sugar and water in a saucepan. Bring to a simmer and cook until sugar has dissolved. Leftover syrup can be kept refrigerated in an airtight container for future use.
