Red, Red, Revel

Berry bright, tangy and just a bit sweet – these will prime your party mood pretty quickly. You can use any raspberry liqueur you prefer – Chambord is the classic. The sugared rim is an easy, elegant touch.

Ingredients

  • 3 ounces vodka
  • 2 ounces Chambord or other raspberry liqueur
  • 2 ounces Red Crown Pomegranate Juice (Original or With Pulp)
  • White sugar for rim (optional)
  • Fresh raspberries and pomegranate arils for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Add vodka, raspberry liqueur and pomegranate juice to cocktail shaker.
  • Fill with ice and shake vigorously to chill liquid thoroughly – this drink should be served very cold.
  • Strain into prepared martini glasses (see below for sugaring rims). Garnish with berries and pomegranate arils (optional).
  • Make a sugared rim: Sprinkle white sugar evenly about ¼ inch deep on a plate a bit larger than your martini glasses. Use a clean sponge to moisten rims of glasses with water. Dip moistened glasses into sugar, holding them straight to create an even rim. Twist gently to coat thoroughly, remove, and shake lightly to remove excess sugar. That’s it!
